Maintenance of MANITOWOC 8500 Track Roller

1 Appearance inspection and cleaning

Inspect the appearance of bottom rollers before each MANITOWOC 8500 crawler crane operation. Check whether the roller body has cracks, excessive wear or deformation.Promptly clean stones, mud and dirt out of the gaps.

2 Sealing and oil leakage inspection

Regularly check the oil seal, O-ring, and end covers for oil leakage.Regularly check for sediment entering the wheel body. Replace the component promptly if any leakage occurs.

3 Regular lubrication

Regularly check the lubrication status inside the wheel body and replenish lubricating oil according to the working conditions.Select lubricating oil as recommended by the MANITOWOC original manufacturer, and prevent inferior lubricants from damaging the wheel body.

4 Installation structure and equipment stability inspection

Regularly check the bolts of the bottom rollers for looseness and rust.

5 Coordination check with other accessories

Regularly check for abnormal wear between the crane bottom rollers and tracks.
