Traditional crawler crane bottom rollers usually receive no full heat treatment or only quenching. This results in inconsistent hardness (either too low or too high) on the bottom roller, making the part susceptible to fracture. Our Hitachi KH150 Bottom Rollers use a dual heat treatment process.

High temperature quenching is followed by low temperature tempering. Components attain balanced hardness and toughness. At the same time, after surface hardening treatment, the wear resistance is significantly improved.
